A Message From The NEAMB President

Thank you for joining the Nebraska Association of Mortgage Brokers (NEAMB) and the National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB). By doing so, you are now aligned with 25,000 of your fellow leaders in the mortgage industry. With support from top professionals like you in all 50 states, NAMB has become the voice of the industry, working on Capitol Hill and in the media to protect and serve the interest of mortgage brokers across the nation.

The NEAMB Legislative Committee is working closely with our State Legislators to insure that your interests are represented with implementation of the new Safe Act requirements. We will continue to keep our members informed of these changes as we work with the State of Nebraska's Department of Banking and Finance.

NEAMB Education Committee is continuing to actively work to provide you with the education and credit hours you will need to have to insure that you meet all of the Safe Act Requirements once they are implemented. As a reminder, education courses are offered to you as a member at a reduced cost. These credit hours are taught by a NAMB certified instructor making your credit hours usable for out of state licensing requirements.

(www.nebraskamortgagebrokers.org) Our first annual Fall Conference held this year was a success and we look forward to holding the next annual conference and making it even better - keep an eye on the website for updates and postings. Regular events help our members’ network and share common experiences which in turn make you stronger individually.

We will ask for your continued membership commitment when it is time for renewal. We also encourage you to invite one non member to join our organization as well. Your voice matters and your participation in a committee is the best way to make the association all that you want it to be. You are your own best spokesperson for your issues or concerns. Your individual participation benefits you, the industry and our clients as a whole by strengthening our presence in the local market
